Miss Maddie

Madeline Figueiredo

Pre-School • Hip Hop • Jazz • Acro

Maddie discovered her passion for dance at the age of four at Marquis Dance Academy. By age seven, she joined the Intensive Program and went on to train in a wide range of styles, including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acrobatics, and hip-hop.

Throughout her training, Maddie has competed extensively, earning numerous top placements for her solos, duets, and small group performances. Her competitive highlights include being invited to Canada's National Dance Team to represent the country in the Dance World Cup Finals, competing at World of Dance Canada, and traveling to Ottawa for Candance National Finals, where she competed as Teen Miss Title Contestant. Along the way, she has had the privilege of learning and training from many exceptional choreographers from around the world.

Her dedication to the studio naturally led her to assisting teachers in the classroom, where she developed a passion for mentoring younger students and sharing her love for dance.

After graduating from the Intensive Program, Maddie knew she wanted to continue her journey in dance through teaching. Her goal is to help her students develop new skills, build confidence, and foster their own passion for the art form. Maddie is excited to provide an encouraging and positive environment where her students can learn, grow, and have fun.
