Kaitlyn began dancing at Marquis at the age of 3. She joined the competitive program at 8 years old and trained extensively in all styles of dance including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, tap, modern and hip hop.

Kaitlyn competed locally, nationally, and internationally in large groups, small groups, duos/trios, and solos, winning many top awards. In 2018, Kaitlyn was selected to be part of Team Canada at the IDO World Championships and competed in jazz, modern and ballet. The following year Kaitlyn was part of a group who travelled to New York and made it to the final audition phase for the World of Dance.

Kaitlyn’s passion for dance started at a very young age and she has worked as a dance assistant and substitute teacher at Marquis for many years. She is currently attending the University of Winnipeg in the Faculty of Education and is a cheerleader for the Winnipeg Blue Bomber CFL football team. Kaitlyn hopes to motivate and inspire young dancers through sharing her love of dance and, help them grow and develop to their full potential.

Kaitlyn is very excited to continue this journey with Marquis and share her passion and love of dance with all.
