Dress Code

* For Jazz and Tap classes, hair must be tied back in a pony tail.
* For ballet, hair must be worn in a bun.



TUTUS FOR TWO, MINI-STEPS & CREATIVE DANCE:

Girls - any color bodysuit with tights. Pink ballet or gym slippers
bare feet are also acceptable.

Boys - any color T-shirt and shorts. Black ballet or gym slippers.
- bare feet are also acceptable.

* All other boys classes (except Hip Hop):
white T-shirt with black sweat pants, black ballet slippers,
beige jazz oxfords or tap shoes as required.

PRE-TAP/PRE-BALLET:
- any color bodysuit with pink tights. Pink ballet or gym slippers
- black tap shoes

BALLET:

- sleeveless or short sleeve black bodysuit
- pink tights and pink ballet slippers (canvas split sole)

JAZZ:
- any style of black bodysuit
- black jazz shorts
- beige tights
- beige jazz oxfords


HIP HOP:

- exercise wear, sweat pants, T-shirt
- non-marking & clean runners only, no street shoes used outside the building are permitted

TAP:
- any style of black bodysuit with black jazz short
- beige tights
- black low-heel tap shoes

MODERN:
- black tights & a black bodysuit are preferable.
- bare feet

ADULT CLASSES:
-exercise wear
-Jazz: black jazz oxfords or aerobic runners
-Tap: black low heel tap shoes
 

ATTENDANCE:
Regular attendance is important for progress because each class
builds from the last. Missed classes are non-refundable. Please be punctual.

REFUNDS:
Withdrawals prior to February 1 will have the remaining post-dated cheques
returned or a refund for the balance will be issued if tuition had already been paid in full.

COSTUMES:
Students who wish to participate in the recital will need to purchase a dance costume. Prices generally range from $50 for younger students to up to $75 for older students. A deposit for each costume is required before costume orders can be placed. Costume fees and order forms must be received by the school prior to the deadline which will be set later during the year in your newsletter. Otherwise, a costume order will not be placed for the student.
