Students who may wish to seek out additional conventions and competitions, other than the ones Marquis Dance Academy regularly attends, can make use of the following links. Students wishing to attend additional out-of-province dance camps, workshops or competitions are welcomed to do so on their own, providing that these do not conflict with their Intensive Program competition schedule or interfere with I.P. classes and choreography.

Before registering for an event, please advise the school of your intention to attend any convention or competition that is to take place during the current dance school year. This will help in avoiding scheduling conflicts.

Red River Ex Stars of Tomorrow (13 and up)
Red River Ex Kidz Quest (12 and under)		 Talent show competitions with semi-finals and finals during the Red River Ex.
5-6-7-8 Showtime Can. regional competitions, with Can. nationals, also a qualifier for the Dance World Cup in July.

CanDance Dance Competitions Alberta, Ontario & Québec and many U.S. cities, CanDance also hosts national finals in July.
American Dance Awards
 		 Canadian and U.S. cities, with nationals in US and Canada. Biggest competition in the US.
North American Dance Championships Canadian and American entries, no regional qualification necessary to attend. Mid-July.
Dance America Competitions Various U.S. cities such as: Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago.
